Copper -
(5/2010) - Gelding - 5 years old - Not a rescue.
Copper is looking for a new home. All rescue adoption rules apply.
Copper is green broken and needs an experienced rider to complete his
training. He is extremely intelligent and a quick learner. He is
at least 16 hh tall. He is very athletic and quick. Would make an
excellent speed or reining horse. On trial adoption for 30 days, but it
is going very well!!
SATIN - (12/09) Mare - Arabian - 14 yrs old
- unbroken, but with a gentle and sweet nature. Stands good for farrier
and any other care. This mare has the sweetest nature and is willing in
handling. She is patient and poised. Her main and tail are amazing
when she is groomed out! Now in a new home with sister pasture mates that
look a lot like her! Was ridden over the 4th of July and loved trail
riding!
Grey -
(01/2010) Mare - 5 years old - Dapple - due to
foal Spring 2010. We were told Grey was green broken, but our
evaluation of her ride ability did not confirm the statement. Foal and mare will
be adopted separately. Gracie cannot be adopted until after she has foaled.
Gracie was ridden on the 4th of July and did beautifully...True by her side!
Update on Grey (now Gracie):

on May 27th, a filly, and they have both been adopted by Tami & Skip who will
give them a forever home!
JR - gelding - adopted by his previous owner, (not
who he was seized from) but one who loved and cared for him, and wished to do so
again. What a happy ending (or should we say beginning again) for JR.

PRINCE - Lipizzan/Andalusion gelding - Prince has found his forever home
with Mary Ellen and Mike, who love him and have already begun his ground
training. Prince it truly blessed...now. Lipizzan foals are
born black, but turn white by the age of 5 years; look closely and you can see
how Prince has begun to change!

Max. She is 8 years old. She is a very-very
sweet girl! She was used as a brood mare, never been ridden, but think she
could be easily trained.
Lacey

Jackson
is 16-years-old, very-very ride-able, neck reigns, beautiful trail horse.
This is Sugar, she is a 6-7 year old Belgian from the
Juneau County region. She
is approximately 16 + hh. She is very friendly!
Mocha, approx 2 years of age. We do not know her exact breed(s). Can
only guess that she's pit-bull, Chihuahua, boxer? She is spayed and up to
date on all shots.
Arrow is a mixed breed not quite a year old yet. She
is very, very sweet! She is spayed and up to date on all shots!
Ella - 18-year-old, double registered, Saddle-Bred-Arabian mare.

girl who absolutely adores both of them!!

EMMA - Mare - Percheron - ADOPTED!! Winter 2007 - Mascot for
CWSTAG - adopted by a volunteer. Saved with one other horse from transport
to slaughter. Emma has a new forever home, and a new barn, at Larry &
Lori's. Larry has a new sweetheart in Emma!
Mazie - - Mare - 3 year-old (camilla colored) ADOPTED!!
NEVER been handled on arrival-but has had been worked with since. Has really
good blood-lines but are not registered. This horse require someone
who either has the ability to train or has a trainer to work with them.
Dec 2007 This filly is coming along well, we are able to lead her to and from the paddock to pasture without spooking. She also comes right up to the gate now for attention.
Shyanne - adopted Winter of 2007 - doing great!
Star - adopted Spring of 2008 - Getting lots and lots of attention,
is very loved and doing wonderful!
Blind
APRIL - (12/09) Mare - Age ? - Left in a
pasture without any form of shelter; April's eyes became sun burned. She is
completely blind now and requires special care for her eyes daily. ADOPTED! We
are happy to say April has been adopted and will be joining Emma in the new barn
that Larry and Lori have built for them. April will also have a new special
corral designed for her special needs.
Rampage - adopted Winter of 2007 and loves his family as much as his family
loves him!
Maggie
- adopted in 2006 and is doing awesome!
Fletcher (no photo) - adopted - He was adopted almost immediately after getting him. He is in a home for children of special needs. They will care for Fletcher, brush him, and go for walks with him, as part of their therapy program.
Jixer,
is a 6-year-old toy fox terrier. Has papers and is neutered and up to date
on shots! He is very, very sweet!!!
