We are receiving calls from other rescue groups and also from individuals wishing to surrender their        animal (s).  Because we are a small rescue group with a limited amount of space we are only able to accept a certain amount of animals.  We are currently looking for anyone who would like to foster an animal (s) until a permanent home is found.  We would make sure that the animal (s) are up to date on shots and neutered or spayed or gelded.  We deal mostly with horses but have been approached by people about taking dogs and cats, the reason we do not deal a whole lot with dogs and cats is that we do not have the facilities to accommodate these animals.  We also have a contract with the local Humane Society so that individuals that do have dogs and cats and need to relinquish them they do so through the local Humane Society, that way we are not interfering with the business of the Humane Society.  Occasionally though when the Humane Society is full we are approached to help and we do what we can, but as I said, we do not have the facilities to house dogs and cats.
