ADOPTION PENDING:
This picture was taken of Trooper on August 26, 2008.
He is really filling out nicely, and has a nice gleam in his eyes! Trooper
is a 1 1/2 year old Arabian which will stand approximately 15hh. He is
from the Juneau County Region along with Satin (his mother), Sugar, and Max.
He should also turn out to be a grey from what we have been told. He is a
very handsome young man!! I do want to say that I'm very sorry to the gal
who is planning on adopting Trooper. I had mentioned on the site earlier
about him being gelded and one of the testes hadn't dropped and wasn't able to
be removed at this time and not exactly sure when or if it would, and I didn't
know if she'd still want him. She does and I really did not mean to upset
her-My Apologies! Sometimes I get ahead of myself, I need to slow down and
find out more before putting information on the site. So again I'm Really
Sorry!!
ADOPTION PENDING: August 10, 2008. Lily will
be going back to the Dane County Humane Society where she is in the process of
being adopted. We hope the best for her and Val and Star and hope that
they receive the love and attention that they need and deserve.
WOW!!! The horse in the middle in
the picture on the left is Lily! She gained 60 pounds in just 31 days!
Sara Chrisler from Dane County Humane Society came and saw the three and is so
happy about how they are coming along, and so are we!! She actually looks
as though she has a belly! and she just shines! She is so nice and
friendly, all three are just a joy! She loves attention and is doing great
in learning!
ADOPTION PENDING:
Dante is a paint gelding approximately 7-8
years of age. Here are the picture's of Dante. They were taken
approximately July 25, 2008. He was a surrender due to a divorce
situation.
ADOPTION PENDING: This is Max, she is a Registered Paint Brood Mare that
has ratchet breeding behind her, she is the grand-daughter to Blue Mac.
She is 10-13 years old, 15 hh. She is not ride able. She is also a
very sweet mare! Her feet have been done!!! She stood
really good for the farrier and her feet look 100% better! I went out
there 2 days ago and she is so sweet! UPDATE:
August 15, 2008. Well, like the other 2 mares from Juneau County, Max
could possibly be pregnant from a stallion that the person had on her property
but had to be put down as he had fallen in a hole and the Juneau County
Sheriff's Dept. could not get him out. We had called and told the person
possibly adopting Max this and she doesn't care if Max is pregnant or not she is
still interested in keeping her.
ADOPTION PENDING: This is Val. She is a
black/white paint, yearling born on 5-26-07. She is up to date on all
shots, hooves trimmed, and teeth checked. She is also very very sweet!!!
She is inquisitive yet cautious of things, but loves attention and being
brushed! Valquery is on Senior Feed to help get the extra protein that she
needs. She is one of the foster's from the Dane County Humane Society.
Man, look at Val! She also gained 60
pounds in just 31 days! It's hard to believe that we got these three on
June 11, 2008 and just how far they've come! It's hard to not have a
favorite, but I think she is mine!
ADOPTION PENDING: This is Star. He is a Black
Quarter Horse yearling, date of birth is 4-25-07. He has a star and stripe
on head, white sock on left hind limb.
He is stunted due to malnutrition, and a little scared of things but is very
sweet! He is also on Senior Feed to help with the extra protein that he
needs. He is up to date on all shots, hooves trimmed, and teeth checked.
He is such a sweet little boy, his eyes just warm your heart! Star is one
of the three that we were fostering from the Dane County Humane Society.
Look how much Star has gained! He
gained 70 pounds in just 31 days! He has won the hearts of everyone who
comes in contact with him! He has came such a long way from when we first
got him! When he first came he had no life in his eyes, no sparkle, all he
did was sleep, and he just gave you the impression that he just didn't care if
he lived anymore. He really had everyone worried for awhile, but then
after about 10 days he started showing signs of happiness, he got sparkle in his
eyes, he goes out in the pasture and kicks up his heels! In his stall he
has a jolly ball that hangs down and boy does he love to play with that!!!
He is just a hoot!
